If Jesus Had Met Me

It's taken me over a year to write this post. It wasn't an easy one to write and it isn't easy to share. But, Holy Spirit finally gave me the words I needed, so my fingers just kept typing.

This is what it comes down to for me, friends…

I’ve noticed that Jesus was amazed by two things during His ministry: an abundance of faith and a lack of faith. He was amazed at the amount of faith of a captain of the Roman army (Matthew 8:10) and he was shocked at the lack of faith from the people in His own hometown (Mark 6:6.)

On the blog today, I'm covering a controversial topic that most people want to avoid (as I did for a long time) - the healing power of Jesus and the role of our faith. Also...don't miss out on the FREE downloadable print at the end of the post!

I Wore Blue Light Glasses for a Month and Here’s What Happened

I’d heard that the blue light emitted from the screens we stare at for hours a day feed our brains too much of a chemical that yells, “STAY AWAKE,” but I had no idea how much it was actually affecting me.

I feel like I should say that I will make a total of exactly ZERO dollars by sharing this information with you. Amazon doesn’t care about my blog. I just have to share because it made such a drastic difference beginning with the first night I wore them.

NIAW: I am 1 in 8

These are the words I actually typed on my infertility blog 3 years ago. I had so little hope. I'd made fertility my idol and my god instead of seeking the Father's heart, laying everything at His feet, and resting in His peace.

This week on the blog, I'm sharing how He replaced fear with peace. Barrenness with LIFE. Shame with honor.

Hope for the Hopeless

It's been five years since our "Little Lady" walked into our house. After looking back on some of the blog posts I'd written during our time with her, the Holy Spirit revealed how little hope I had at the time. My hope and faith was in a baby, in the foster system, in so many other things besides Jesus. OUCH.

The Father took what the enemy meant for evil and turned it into a beautiful redemption story. A story where this little girl got a set of “bonus parents,” while we have the privilege of remaining in her life and watching her grow up into this incredible young lady!

Today on the blog I'm sharing a few of these posts, as well as some photos we weren't able to share along the way. Come on over!
